Places We Have Been. Places we can take you!
- Alaska- Pacific Salmon, trout, char, arctic grayling, steelhead and more. America’s last frontier. As wild as it gets.
- British Columbia, Canada- World famous for its wild steelhead and salmon populations. A favorite of our guides.
- The Olympic Peninsula, Washington State- Enormous steelhead in as picturesque a setting as it can get. Wet and unpredictable, this trip is for the adventurous.
- The Florida Keys- Bonefish, Permit, Tarpon, Snook, and Jack are the prime targets on the flats of the world famous Florida Keys.
- Louisiana and Texas- Pole the estuaries for big Bull Redfish and Speckled Trout.
- Mexico and Belize- Flats fishing at its finest, especially Tarpon and Permit. Another favorite for our guides.
- Panama- Huge Tarpon and Peacock Bass.
- Costa Rica- Flats fishing and Rooster Fish from the beach.
- Argentina- Patagonia fishing is renowned for its incredible fishing quality, culture and scenery. A very comfortable transition from Colorado fly fishing in Northern Patagonia, down to the world famous sea run brown and steelhead runs at the bottom of the world in the deep south, it is not hard to understand how American Anglers get lost chasing the endless angling opportunities in this vast country.
- Chile- Much like Argentina, this western side of the Andes Mountains of Patagonia is trout rich and offers unique fishing opportunities not seen anywhere else in the world. Towering fjords, rainforests and glaciers are not often what come to mind when thinking of trout fishing. Until you’ve been to Chile with Freestone Outfitters.
- Arguably the mecca of destination trout fishing. The gin clear waters of New Zealand are famous for their technical but enormous brown and rainbow trout that will rise to a well presented dry fly. Vast and beautiful countryside and the quality of fishing will make you wish you lived on this opposite end of the world. If a 7 pound wild brown trout engulfing a foam hopper pattern sounds appealing to you, New Zealand is your best option. Another favorite of our guides.
- Iceland- Brown Trout, Char, Atlantic Salmon and Sea Run Browns.
- Scandinavia and Kola Peninsula- Fish for the unicorn for the fly rod, the Atlantic Salmon.
- British Isles- Want to see where modern fly fishing started? How about the chalk streams of England?
- Kamchatka Peninsula- One of the wildest places on earth, this end of Eastern Russia will leave your jaw dropped with the quality of Rainbow Trout and steelhead.
