Rowdy Trout Ranch
- The Rowdy Trout Ranch offers a unique experience for anglers of all skill levels fly fishing in Colorado. Only an hour outside of Denver on the famed North Fork of the South Platte River, the unmatched views of Santa Maria and the rugged peaks of Pike National Forest, Mt. Evans Wilderness Area, and the Lost Creek Wilderness area surround anglers. Since 2008, this amazing property has been managed through an Environmentally Conscious Management Program that restricts angler use, and promotes a sustainable and healthy fishery. Each year, availability is determined by the management plan and is limited accordingly. Full scale fisheries enhancements have been completed from 2009 through 2011 and have produced an absolutely wonderful aesthetic experience for our customers. In addition to the spectacular river, the Rowdy Trout Ranch has four ponds, which regularly hold large trout that often rise for a well-presented fly.
The YR Ranch
- The YR Ranch offers a variety of amazing fishing situations unparalleled in all of Colorado fly fishing. Dries, nymphs and streamers are all productive at this amazing property. Access to this area is limited as it is a favorite for our returning customers. This premier fishery is currently undergoing a five year environmental rehabilitation which includes a long term management plan that will ensure anglers an amazing experience for many years to come. The YR Ranch does not receive any stocking and produces many wild trophy fish each year. The property fishes especially well early and late in the season, when some of the largest wild trout seen in Colorado migrate into this stretch of the Blue River from the mighty Colorado River staging for their annual spawning. The North Fork Ranch & North Fork Meadows
- These two locations are among our most productive properties and also a favorite of returning customers for their superb scenery and fishing quality. Thus, availability is limited, but with good reason. Within an hour from Denver, these stretches of the North Fork of the South Platte are some of the most user-friendly fly fishing ranches in Colorado, and full of healthy eager fish. The river is a very manageable size and perfect for beginners and experts alike. Sylvan Dale Ranch
